Book Review - Holy Cow by David Duchovny - February 11, 2023

Holy Cow by David Duchovny was a decent book. It was much better than many of the books I have attempted to read on Kindle Unlimited (This book is not available on Kindle Unlimited).

The book is about a cow who teams up with a pig and a turkey to escape from a farm. It is told from the perspective of a cow.

At times it is funny. Sometimes it is boring. I did cry at one point. Overall, it held my attention.

My favorite line from the whole book is on page 146: "None of the flight attendants gave us any trouble 'cause everyone acts like an animal on a plane." I laughed out loud.

Midway through the book, I realized that this book is propoganda to not eat meat. I like meat, so I did not like this.

I did a Google search and discovered that David Duchovny is a vegetarian!

Key points:

It is cruel to kill animals and eat them.

It's ridiculous that a lot of meat and animal products are wasted.

We are polluting the earth due to the volume of resources required to produce meat.
